Two types of permissions can be set; division and project.
Any users that has Division Administrator permission can:
•add / remove other users to the Division Administrator role
•add / remove user permission on any any project data in the division
•alter any data stored in the MASTER project (i.e. templates in the Master Collection)
•access any project data in the division
System Administrators are those users with permission on the MASTER division, and access all divisions with the same permissions as noted above. Additional, if the user is part of the db_owner role in SQL Server, the user can access and perform operations on the database schema.
By default, any user can access divisions and projects.
Once one or more users have been added to a projects permission list, only listed users can access the project.
Note |
•A special user called 'DATALOCK' can be added to a project list to make data visible, but readonly to users without specific permission. •Users with System or Division Administrator permissions can access any project. |
