The Sync button on the Start Screen is only shown when the current database is local (i.e. on the same computer). This does not indicate that the synchronization system is configured:
Before the SYNC Add-in can be used, the software and local database require configuration.
The best way to check if the synchronization system is configured is to click the Sync button.
Prerequisite checks are made before starting the SYNC Add-in for:
•a valid SYNC Add-in license
Once started, the presence of any scopes indicates if the device is ready-for-use:
If no scopes are shown, the system requires further setup (pairing and/or provisioning):
