Move (3D)

Model_Toolbar_Move3D_Editor

The Move 3D tool allows rotation and translation of selected entities into any orientation.

Note that entities must be selected before enabling this tool.

img_1 Ensure that the layer that the entity is on is selectable (unlocked):

Clicking on the entity in the model will focus the layer in the Layer Manager.

img_2  Select an entity or multiple entities to move:

img_3 Click the Move 3D button on the toolbar:

img_4 Move and rotate the selected entities by clicking and holding onto the tool in the viewport:

hs-tip

Clicking and dragging on an arrow will translate the entities in the direction of the arrow.
Clicking and dragging on an angle will rotate the entities in the plane of the angle.
Clicking and dragging on an origin will move the entities in the current 3D plane.
