All organisations have different requirements with respect to the automation of processes.
Depending on your requirements, these systems can be tailored to suit.
Calculations
Calculations can be run on any data stored in the database, such as:
- in-situ results - derived parameters (i.e. CPT parameters)
- laboratory results - classification determination (i.e. USCS classification)
- monitoring results - summary data (i.e. min / max values) updated as you enter data
Numerous options can be used to trigger and run calculations depending on the type and scale of data being processed, ranging from simple triggers to compiled .net libraries (dll) for improved performance if required.
Validations
Validation rules can be designed to control data input:
- single column (i.e. SPT<50)
- compare values in multiple columns (i.e. RQD<=TCR)
- compare values in multiple tables and columns to ensure that required data has been entered before a value can be set (i.e. FINAL)
Extensions
CORE-GS import, export and reporting systems can be extended with specific add-ins:
- ADT Add-in - provides tools for the bulk import, export and reporting of data across multiple projects.
- AUTO Add-in - provides fully automated export and reporting capabilities triggered by business rules defined in the database.
