Importing data

The Import group is located on the far left of the External tab.

Model_Ribbon_External_Import

note

Ensure that data in the file to be imported is in the same coordinate system as data in the model.  
If not, the model may become unresponsive / fail if the extent of the model is too large.

Supported formats:

•CAD (*.dwg/*.dxf) import

•Wavefront (*.obj) import

•Stereolithography (*.stl) import

•LiDAR point cloud (*.las) import
