Saving and copying models

Saving existing models

Models can be manually saved by clicking the Save button in the Quick Access Menu, or pressing the CTRL + S keys.

Model_File_Save

While the model is saving, messages are shown to indicate the progress.

 

Copy an existing model

The Save As button can be used to create a copy of the current model.

Model_File_SaveAs

This may be used to persist versions of a model or to create models of small parts of larger projects.

img_2 Select a folder and name for the new model and click the Save button:

img_3 The current model will be saved in a file with the new name.

The new model file path will be saved in the database.
