Moving features

Use the Move button to shift features from one project to another. This is occasionally required when data is accidentally input into the wrong project, or for some other reason data needs to be moved to another project.

If you have multiple features to move, consider exporting data to XML format.

img_1 Select the feature to move in the Record Navigator.

img_2Right Click on the feature to bring up the menu then Click the Move button in the contextual menu:

img_3 Select the destination project, then click OK:

Moves may as a result of:

•A feature with the same name already exists in the destination project

•The user does not have permission to access the destination project

•Data conflicts with project lookups in the destination project
