Assign entitites to layer

Entities are automatically assigned to layers when they are created or imported.

The user may want to move these entities to another layer to simplify the management of data in the model.

The Assign To Layer tool allows selected entities to be moved to the selected layer.

hs-tip

Assign To Layer is only available on model layers because database layers are deleted when refreshed.

img_1 Select entities from any layer that you want to move to another layer:

img_2 Right-click on the model layer to move the selected entities too and click the Assign To Layer button:
