To navigate around the viewport there are the Navigation Tools located at the top of the viewport and a Navigation Cube in the top right corner.
The navigation toolbar is located at the top of the viewport.

The navigation cube is located in the top right corner of the viewport:
The navigation cube is disabled and locked in a top-down view in the Plan (2D) environment.
The only way to change the rotation is by using the Zoom To Alignment tool. To reset back to the original orientation right click the viewport and click Zoom Limit (CTRL+SHIFT+Z+L). |
Clicking and dragging on the navigation cube will rotate the model to various orientations.
Hovering the mouse over the navigation cube to show red highlighting representing the selected face or the compass points (N,E,S,W). Clicking on these selected feature will change the view orientation.
