Drawings (Plans & Sections) are defined by alignments; a special type of line defined in the model viewport:
Each alignment must be associated to a drawing template that defines the output that is generated:
•Plan Only
•Section Only
•Plan & Section
All alignments in a model are shown in the Alignment Manager grouped based on the Drawing Template type associated to each alignment:
Each alignment indicates the name, horizontal scale, vertical factor (for sections), width factor and the locked and visible settings:
The locked setting changes the ability to edit the alignment in the model viewport.
The visible setting shows / hides the alignment in the model viewport.
These and additional settings can be accessed by clicking the Settings button in the toolbar:

The Alignment Manager has a contextual menu that is shown by right-clicking.
This tools assist with working with alignments:
Makes all entities on the selected alignments visible. |

Makes all entities on the selected alignments hidden. |

Rotates the model viewport to fit the selected alignment horizontally across the screen and makes all entities on the selected alignments visible. |
|
Shows / hides regions indicating the page extent and selection offset on the currently selected alignment. |
Expands all template groups. |

Collapses all template groups. |
|
Rebuilds all layer information from data in the model and is typically used to remove unused layers. |
