Two controls can be used to navigate tables; the Workflow Toolbar and Table Tree.

Workflow Toolbar - provides links to defined tables to assist with data input for specific tasks.

The Workflow Toolbar provides the ability to select the active workflow, design workflows and select table links (report template or user defined tables):

	Selects the active workflow: [AUTO] When the "[AUTO]" workflow is selected, tables from the active template are shown as table links. User Defined When a user defined (i.e. "Hand Auger") workflow is selected, the tables and order defined in the Workflow Designer are shown as table links.
	Shows the Workflow Designer, to create, edit and delete user defined workflows.
	Moves backward to the previously selected table.
	Moves forward to the previously selected table.

Table links can be displayed as:

•Multi-Line (default) - when the width of table links exceed the width available, additional lines are added:

•Single-Line - when the width of table links exceed the width available, additional links are added to a drop-down list (right-hand end):

The mode can be changed in the Workflow Designer by changing the Multi-Line Mode option:

Table Tree - provides access to all public tables in the database, with the hierarchical representation indicating the database structure.

When the Data Module is first started, the Table Tree is collapsed to the Startup table, and only includes tables that are marked as visible.

Hovering over a table will show information about it:

The status of tables is indicated by the font and color:

•Dark, normal font ð visible & editable

•Light, normal font ð visible & non-editable

•Dark italic font ð hidden & editable

•Light italic font ð hidden & non-editable

Note

Hidden public tables can be seen by changing the Show All Tables option through the ribbon or contextual menu (right-click).

Navigation

Moving up or down the table list can be achieved by pressing the Up Arrow or Down Arrow keys.

Tables with an indicator showing can be expanded / collapsed to show / hide child tables in various ways:

•Clicking the expand / collapse button:

•Double-click the table:

•Pressing CTRL + Right Arrow to expand, and CTRL + Left Arrow to collapse.

Tools & Options

Tools and options to work with the Table Tree can be accessed through the ribbon or contextual menu (right-click):

	Enables searching the table name and description columns for keywords:
	Shows all hidden tables (defined by the Division Administrator or System Administrator).
	Expands all levels of the tree.
	Collapses all levels of the tree, so only the first level remains visible.
	Sets the focused table as the one that is focused when the Data Module first starts.
	Shows the focused tables division specific Table Properties.
