The Legend Area is where a legends are drawn:
Legends are drawn down-then-across from the top-left corner of the Legend Area.
This means that the height property of the Legend Area defines the maximum height, while the width property of the Legend Area does not limit the width that can be used.
Multiple Legend Area can exist on the same sheet with each showing different legend types.
Legend Settings can be shown by double-clicking the Legend Area or clicking the Settings button with an Legend Area selected.
•Type - defines the type of legend component generated.
•Section All - generates a legend that includes, graphics, bars, lines and symbols. •Section Graphics - generates a legend that only includes graphics (i.e. Geology graphics). •Section Bars - generates a legend that only includes bars (i.e. SPT bar plot). •Section Lines - generates a legend that only includes lines (i.e. CPT line plot). •Section Symbols - generates a legend that only includes symbols (i.e. SPT data symbol). •Plan Symbols - generates a legend that only includes plan symbols (i.e. investigation type). |
•Row Height - defines height of new rows.
•Column Width - defines the width of columns.
•Wrap - sets the maximum number of characters that can be shown on one line within a row.
•Height - sets the text height of the labels.
•Color - sets the text color of the labels
