Surface boundary

A surface boundary allows the surfaces to be clipped within the data limit.

This is useful on irregular shaped areas such as corridor projects.

img_1 Draw a closed line using the line tool defining the area to generate surfaces:

To complete the boundary right click.

img_2 Create a new layer called Boundary.

img_3 Assign the line to the Boundary layer:

img_4 Use the vertex tools to edit the line and select the refresh button to see changes:

Boundaries only affect grid based surfaces.
